The new film, “All Must Die” is a Norwegian horror film that pays homage to the slasher flicks of yesteryear.
The plot is simple enough - a bachelorette party in the deep woods, a horror themed game, and a body count.
I found the film to be on the cusp of going to the next level. It would plant some interesting seeds but then they didn’t blossom into something amazing. I kept wanting the horror to go up a notch and it never really did.
I can say the story takes an interesting turn that I won’t spoil here.
If you want a bit of nostalgia in your foreign horror instead of something too abstract for its own good, “All Must Die” will fit the bill nicely.
Best,
