The new film, “Lassie A New Adventure” is a return to the classic Lassie character. It is definitely a family friendly film which is a bit of a breath of fresh air.
As always I don’t like to spoil the plot in my reviews but I will say that Lassie helps a new cast of characters solve a pet theft issue.
The film has heart and if you’re an animal lover, you’ll enjoy the film. The film was dubbed in English so that was a minor distraction as I like non dubbed films but it wasn’t a major issue.
The scenery is beautiful and the performances of the cast, including all of the trained animals, was solid.
“Lassie A New Adventure” is a great edition to the Lassie canon of films.
