The new film “Ghosts Of The Ozarks” tried to provide a new take on the southern ghost story. It shows a lot of promise in the beginning of the movie. The era which is post Civil War Arkansas is established immediately and the whole vibe of the location screams something isn’t right here.
However, as the narrative unfolds, it really never connects the dots which is unfortunate. It has more right than wrong but it could have been so much more.

I think with the next project, directors Matt Glass and Jordan Wayne Long will bring a more cohesive film to the screen.
