The new film “Alone With You” is a well done thriller from Darkstar Pictures. The overall style of the film is incredibly eye catching. There is a sure handedness about every shot and directors Bennett and Justin Brooks did an amazing job. It’s hard to believe this is their first feature film.
Shot during the pandemic, the locations are minimal with most of the film taking place in an apartment.
The plot revolves around a relationship between two women. I really don’t want to say more than that.
What I can say is that the film is effectively creepy and claustrophobic. The final scene will either make audiences nod in comprehension or shake their head in disbelief.
“Alone With You” is a solid film and worth seeking out.
