THE EXORCISM OF GOD

Reviewed: 3/7/2022
Rating: 4 / 5
Opens March 11th!
The new film “The Exorcism Of God” is a familiar yet different horror-possession film. The plot revolves around an American priest living in Mexico. Without giving too much away, an exorcism goes awry and it sets up the rest of the film.
What I liked about the movie is that it held my interest. The story wasn’t going to win any awards but it did have its moments that came across as fresh which was a pleasant surprise.
The atmosphere was creepy and the performances were strong throughout.
“The Exorcism Of God” is a worthy entry into the possession line of horror films. Make sure you watch it late at night in the dark for an extra bit of dread.
