The Twisted Erotic Thriller Debuts on Digital September 16th
The new South Korean film, “Hidden Face” was a bit of a change from most of the recent films I’ve reviewed/seen from South Korea.
For starters it is an erotic thriller which is somewhat of a rare genre for a South Korean film. There is nudity (topless, bare bottom, etc.) so please be aware if that sort of content offends you.
The story seems basic enough with a conductor and a cellist. But, the story takes twists and turns which make for an interesting viewing.
Some will recognize the cast from films such as, “Parasite” and “A Better Tomorrow” and the cast is strong here. They have to pull off drama, eroticism, and intrigue but they do it well.
The film looks provocative and is very well made.
Overall, “Hidden Face” is a film worth seeking out.
