The new action film, “Affinity” is the star vehicle for Marco Zaror (“John Wick 4”). One would expect some basic action film tropes and for the most part “Affinity” delivers on those.
That’s not necessarily a good thing. The story is paper thin with forgettable dialogue and almost equally poor acting performances.
The saving grace are the action scenes. Marco is clearly a fantastic action star. The scenes also delivered on being much more realistic than the typical scenes with a ton of edits and enhancements. For those that enjoy their action battles old school, you’ll really enjoy “Affinity”.
I just wish the rest of the film delivered as much as the action sequences did.
