The new film “Borderline” is a dark comedy starring Ray Nicholson and Samara Weaving. The plot revolves around a delusional stalker and his fascination with a music star.
This is one of those films that starts off with a somewhat confusing opening and then just spends way too much time trying to be funny at the expense of the situations the characters find themselves in.
It has its moments where you feel the film is taking a turn for the better but then it dissolves right back into this mediocre storyline that is hard to overcome.
Overall, “Borderline” is exactly that - on the borderline between good and bad.
