The “Doomed Lovers” Tour rolled into town on Tuesday evening in Seattle, WA at the Neptune Theatre. The anticipation for this show could not be overstated. Twin Temple were closing out the first leg of their new tour and Seattle hadn’t seen them in a handful of years. The line of fanatics heading west down 45th street spoke volumes about just how excited the fanbase was for this ritual.
Alexandra and Zachary James with their touring band of skilled musicians and practitioners were more than ready to slay the Seattle crowd with their brand of infectious and moving Satanic rock and roll.
As the lights dimmed and the crowd roared, the band members walked on stage and got into their respective places. Then, Alex and Zach walked on stage and performed their customary concert opening by using unholy water and an acknowledgment to the crowd via Satanic proceedings. Hail Satan was chanted throughout the venue before the band launched into, “The Devil (Didn’t Make Me Do It)”.
The lighting design coupled with the stage design set the mood perfectly for the show. Alex’s voice was in outstanding shape as she sang, danced, and worked the crowd all evening. Zach and the band performed the songs in such a way that not only did they sound amazing but they sounded very live - with relatively no tracks to speak of that I could detect. If there were any being used, they were very sparingly to enhance the overall sound.
The new songs from the upcoming album (being released on 10/9/2026) worked seamlessly with the classic tracks. The energy in the room was one of fun, acceptance, and genuine humanity. It was a pleasure to behold in all honesty.
The band is heading out next year for the second leg of the tour. Do yourself a favor and buy your tickets now. This is one concert you do not want to miss.
Highly recommended!
