The new film, “Charlie Tango” is a movie that has some good things going for it but ultimately comes up short.
The screenplay is the strongest part of the film. At times it does get very complicated (maybe too much so) but I can appreciate what writer, director, and producer Simon Boisvert was trying to achieve.
The acting is a bit stiff at times but nothing that’s too distracting. I only wish the acting was stronger overall so that it would have matched the level of the writing.

There have definitely been times over the years with the hundreds of films I've reviewed when a movie has some quality aspects that end up not coming together for the greater good of the film.
Overall, “Charlie Tango” is a decent watch but it could have been great.
