The new film, “One Day As A Lion” is one of those films that has known Hollywood names attached to it but these kinds of films still make me hesitant about the potential quality. Sometimes I need to listen to that inner voice it seems.
Scott Caan wrote the screenplay and John Swab did the directing. There are actors you’ll know such as J.K. Simmons, Frank Grillo, and Virigina Madsen.
This film just didn’t resonate with me. It reminds me of those films that went straight to video after floundering in development Hell for years. With the talent involved it could have been so much more than what was delivered.
