Well, this particular show ended up being rescheduled from 11/20 due to the aftermath of the bomb cyclone event here in Seattle. More than a half a million people were without power, including the venue where Jake was scheduled to perform. Oddly enough, the businesses behind the venue had power so like a pool of water in the desert, every one flocked to the only open businesses for miles.
Fortunately for the fans, Jake and crew came back up to Kirkland on Monday evening to finish out the tour.
This performance was as good as the one in Edmonds the week prior. But, with this being the last show before everyone departed, the guys were a little more loose on stage which made for more holiday fun.
It’s a rare treat when I get to cover two shows. In this case it will be even more memorable due to the weather event, the interview that occurred, and the performances.
