The new film, “The G” is a dark yet methodical revenge thriller. The storyline is not confusing which is a nice change of pace for this type of film. The pacing is very point by point meaning it takes its time to unravel what has happened in the past and what is about to happen in the future.
Lead actor Dale Dickey is the absolute star of this film. Her performance is strong, nuanced, and engaging. WIthout her presence, this film would fall flat on its face. With her contributions, the film gains strength from scene to scene which only enhances the overall effect of the film. In other words, she's brilliant.

If you’re looking for car chases and high speed thrills, “The G” won’t tickle your fancy one bit. But, if you enjoy a good slow burner of a film, then you’ll be plenty pleased with “The G”.
