While I have attended and reviewed shows here in the past, this was my first time back to the Historic Everett Theatre after the renovation from 2025. There was a noticeable change for the better throughout the theatre while retaining the essence of the history of the building.

And on Friday evening the legendary Sheena Easton graced the stage to a welcoming audience.

With no opening act, the band took the stage and then Sheena walked out to loud applause as they launched into, “All Around The World” (Lisa Stansfield cover). The set was filled with songs from throughout Sheena’s career.

Of course the hits were there, as were the duets with Prince (her backing singer was great in this role), along with the occasional song that was a bit different for the setlist.

Sheena encouraged people to sign their name to their items (this was of course to deter anyone from reselling a signed item) and then she would sign them from the stage during the up tempo numbers. Fans danced and had a great time and also took her cue to return to their seats when she performed a ballad.

Sheena’s voice has changed over the years which is to be expected. She still hit most of the notes and was definitely grateful to be there performing for the fans of Everett, WA.

As the show ended with, “For Your Eyes Only”, Sheena mentioned that any items that were marked with a name would be brought backstage and would be signed. This was a nice gesture on her part as many items were left.

A very nice evening with Sheena Easton at the Historic Everett Theatre.
