Into The Fall We Go

So, what's new in the Eclectic Arts camp, you ask?  A shit ton, really.  Doing a print magazine creates certain difficulties in this age of reading blogs, websites, etc.  I call it the time lapse.

I've had the majority of the content for issue #4 completed for some time now.  I needed to finish a few things before I could start the layout process.  Issue #5 is pretty much done as well.

Instead of listing the upcoming interviews and such, I'll wait for the issues to be published (for the most part).  I can tell you that the eclectic part of the magazine title will be in full force for sure.  Some would argue that the type of artists for #4 and #5 have reached a new level.  Some would also argue that the magazine is too mainstream now.

The magazine is as it's always been - selfish.  I like lots of things - obscure bands to television shows.  If I have the opportunity to interview someone I'm a genuine fan of, then I'm going to jump at the chance - regardless of how others view said artist(s).  Basically, I don't give a flying fuck if you consider EA a sell out.  I know that I've followed my own vision from the start.  As long as I keep doing that, then nothing else matters.

The day I interview an artist that I'm not a fan of is the day that EA will have sold out.  EA will continue to grow, continue to cover a variety of artists, and that's just, well, that.
